Founded in 1968 as Bread Loaf Construction, our company takes its name from Bread Loaf Mountain in Middlebury, Vermont. In 1998, we became Bread Loaf Corporation to reflect our evolution from general contracting to a fully integrated company of more than 60 design and construction professionals. Our team includes architects, planners, historians, environmental specialists, engineers, project managers, cost estimators, tradespeople and support staff who work together to serve our clients. For over five decades, Bread Loaf has served clients throughout Vermont, New Hampshire, New York and Northern New England, addressing unique opportunities and challenges. Distinguished by the breadth of our in-house expertise, we provide Integrated Design-Build, Construction Management and General Contracting services.
