Newport Community Center
Newport Community Center
Bread Loaf served as the design-builder for a new Community Center in Newport, New Hampshire, delivering a 19,000-square-foot, multi-use recreation facility that opened in 2025. The project provides a 9,000-square-foot gymnasium with seating for 500 spectators, along with flexible program and fitness spaces that support year-round recreational and community activities.
Funded in part through USDA grant support, the project required careful coordination to meet federal funding requirements and documentation standards. Working in close partnership with Town officials and a building committee, Bread Loaf guided the project from early planning through construction, aligning scope with budget and funding constraints. The result is a cost-effective, thoughtfully designed municipal facility that serves as a long-term community asset.
