Simon Pierce

In close collaboration with renowned glass and pottery designer Simon Pearce, Bread Loaf provided planning, design, and construction services for a comprehensive campus in Windsor, Vermont. The project includes a retail store, corporate offices, glass and pottery manufacturing facilities, warehousing, and distribution space—all unified under the Simon Pearce brand and vision.

The first phase focused on developing infrastructure for the industrial park site and establishing the initial glassblowing facility, along with the retail store and administrative offices. Phase two introduced a new primary entrance and landscaped entry drive, expanded the glassblowing operations, and added a new building for pottery manufacturing. This facility includes kilns, retail display areas, and space for pottery distribution.

As part of the second phase, Bread Loaf also developed a long-term master plan for future expansion. Planned additions include a restaurant, additional office space, a crafts building, a museum, and an outdoor nature park—all envisioned to support and celebrate the artistry and craftsmanship of the Simon Pearce brand.
