The Automaster
Summary
Bread Loaf designed and built the original facility for The Automaster, Shelburne Vermont’s luxury automobile dealership, in 1984. Since then, Bread Loaf has completed a number of additional projects for the client.
Porsche Showroom and The Automaster Spa
The Automaster campus was expanded north with the addition of a new building to house the Porsche dealership and the Automaster Spa, a specialized shop for cleaning and detailing cars.
BMW
A new stand-alone building was added to house the Automaster BMW dealership, providing a site for the primary exterior car display area.
Mercedes-Benz
Bread Loaf utilized Integrated Design Build to renovate the Mercedes-Benz showroom and construct a new service drive-through addition, featuring a glass curtain wall and modern metal panel system.
Service Addition
Growing demand at The Automaster created a unique challenge for Bread Loaf. With an average of 120 cars serviced daily in the existing bays, the service addition project required careful planning. Customer vehicles continued to access the bays throughout construction by means of a carefully coordinated system of diversion barriers and phased scheduling.
