Weeks Medical Center

Bread Loaf was selected as Construction Manager for the multi-phase Lab Relocation and MRI Addition at the Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, New Hampshire.

Phase I of the project involved relocating an existing lab from the first floor to the second floor and building a new rooftop unit addition to serve both phases. All work was done in an occupied building and complex phasing was required to allow ongoing hospital activity in adjacent areas. The project was a fast-track renovation with stringent Covid-19 protocol measures. 

Phase II consisted of an MRI addition adjacent to existing hospital space with associated interior renovations. In order to allow continuous hospital operation, delivery of MRI equipment was coordinated through a removable storefront glazing system on the east end of the addition.
